Safari Overview
Discover the magic of Mana Pools National Park on a 6-night authentic African safari adventure at our Zambezi Expedition and Kanga Expeditions.
Mana Pools is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is home to packs of endangered wild dogs, large herds of African elephants, and a diversity of bird species, including the Rufous-bellied Heron, Cattle Egret, Grey Heron, among others.
Our visitors may be particularly interested in the popular elephant bull, Boswell, renowned for standing on his sturdy back legs to feed from the winterthorn trees.
Mana Pools is one of the few National Parks in Africa where travelers are allowed to experience a walking safari. Our expert guides have years of experience with wildlife in the area and will make sure you don’t miss a sighting. But if a canoe safari is your preference, the river channels and small lakes found in Mana Pools are teeming with a healthy population of hippos among other wildlife you will encounter on your journey.
Our expedition camp is in the backyard of the wild African bush. Every day is filled with thrilling experiences and surprises. No two days are ever the same at our Kanga or Zambezi Expedition camps.
Expect awe-inspiring game drives, thrilling walking safaris, and breathtaking canoe safaris.
Explore the beauty of Mana Pools – by land and water – on this 6-night Mana Adventure.
