An Authentic Safari Experience in the Chobe Enclave

Spend your time exploring the raw African wilderness on thrilling game drives, learn about the fascinating fauna and flora on walking safaris or float serenely along the waterways in a mokoro (canoe). A life-changing wilderness experience awaits you at Linyanti Bush Camp. With just six luxury tents, Linyanti Bush Camp offers an intimate Chobe safari experience in a private concession on the border of Botswana’s iconic Chobe National Park. The Chobe Enclave teems with wildlife and is best known for its large herds of elephants and buffalo. Our Chobe safari lodge sits on the banks of the Linyanti Wetlands – a significant area that is one of the primary sources of water during the drier months. Look forward to exceptional and diverse wildlife encounters year-round.

  • The staff are incredibly thoughtful and spared no effort in making sure our experience was nothing short of exceptional. Lebo, the host, is super attentive and kind – including arranging a birthday cake for my birthday and a special dinner to celebrate our honeymoon.

  • Everything about Linyanti Bush Camp was exceptional. Staff, food, accommodation, thrills, it was just perfect. It’s a small camp with a big heart. James, also known as 007 went out of his way to find the best game and made each bush drive exciting and informative, Lebo was just the most helpful host you could wish for, always smiling, ready to help with anything…

  • The neat thing about Linyanti was the diversity of environments in close proximity as well as the varied game. James 007 was our guide and did an amazing job tracking and finding the game. We weren’t constrained by roads – James took us everywhere. We loved the experience – you just have to let James take you on the adventure!

Our Local Foundation Projects

Primary School Disability Unit

Kachikau Primary School Disability unit currently accommodates about 32 students with disabilities from the villages in Chobe, Botswana. The unit provides schooling, accommodation, and daily meals for the learners. The school infrastructure was ill-equipped to support learners with special needs as it lacked basic infrastructures such as wheelchair ramps and paved walkways. This made it increasingly difficult for learners using a wheelchair to move around the school premises.

Female Guides Training

Women from communities in Botswana do not have access to the same career opportunities as safari guides, compared to their male counterparts. This career is still largely a male-dominated one, with little active investment, training, or skills development in female guides that would empower them to pursue their dreams and provide for their families. Linked to this dynamic, there is also a scarcity of job opportunities currently available for female guides in camps in the area.

Basket Weaving Project

The Vuche Vuche Basket Weaving Project aims to empower women from the local community through basket weaving. This initiative creates employment opportunities whilst displaying Botswana’s heritage and culture through beautiful crafts. Baskets are for sale at ABC trading posts, and guests can visit Vuche Vuche to learn basket weaving and experience traditional dances.
