Renowned for its thriving elephant herds, packs of wild dogs, and abundant leopards, Lolebezi is a beacon of wildlife diversity. Nestled on the banks of the Zambezi River in Zambia’s Lower Zambezi National Park – one of Africa’s most exclusive and remote locations – this Icon Experience offers an extraordinary blend of opulence and nature.

Lolebezi’s diverse wildlife and stunning riverscapes solidify its status as the shining jewel of the Lower Zambezi.  Engage in an incredible range of activities that will leave you with a profound experience of authentic Africa. Create unforgettable memories on the Zambezi River through canoeing, fishing, and boating trips. Daily game drives offer a unique vantage point to explore new and vast landscapes, while guided walking safaris offer one-of-a-kind wildlife interactions.

Adorned with Acacia trees, Lolebezi’s architectural philosophy is rooted in contemporary style and African heritage. The lodge is a grand display of opulent splendor, complete with artwork that pays tribute to local culture and craftsmanship. The natural textures and tones, such as the green rainforest marble, woven throughout only stand to enhance its beautiful surroundings. The fully equipped gym and wellness spa provide the perfect reset for your body and mind.

Every private suite is complete with a sumptuous bathtub and a serene plunge pool, each offering breathtaking views of the Zambezi River. With marble vanities, indoor and outdoor showers, and lavish Kingsize beds, the blend of comfort and luxury is unparalleled.

    Luxury Safari!

Lolebezi screams luxury Safari, one of my favorite camps in Lower Zambezi. From the lively welcome by the staff to the gorgeous room, excellent service, and perfectly cooked meals. There was not a single thing I did not like. We had a wonderful game drive with the most beautiful view of the sunset for our sundowners. Looking forward to going back!

Our Foundation Projects

Maunaga Primary School

The Maunga primary school is the only primary school in Maunga village and currently accommodates 177 learners from ECE to grade 7. The school has three teachers including the principal. To date, we have painted the nursery classroom and the ablution blocks, provided learning materials and textbooks, installed solar power and burglar bars for the computer lab, and fixed all the windows at the school.

Maunga Health Centre

Access to quality and affordable health care facilities and services remains a challenge for many rural communities in Zambia. The nearest clinic in Maunga is 20KM (12.2 miles) away from the community, a distance which is often travelled by foot to access health care. Poor infrastructure, a lack of resources, a shortage of basic medical supplies, and a shortage of skilled healthcare workers remain a challenge at these medical facilities.

Thandanani Sewing Group

Thandanani, which means “love each other,” is a local sewing group run by women in the community of Dete, in Hwange. They make beautiful African print placemats, bags, robes, travel wallets, and clothes. Everything they make is unique and made with love. Items are for sale at the ABC trading post in our camp.
