My husband and I love to travel. We’ve visited Zimbabwe and Botswana before, but this was our 1st time with African Bush Camps. We stayed at 3 camps in Zimbabwe and 1 in Botswana for total of 11 nights. We loved it and would highly recommend it. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the staff singing us a welcome song. What an amazing friendly staff with attention to detail & always made us feel welcome! The small camp size ensures a personalized experience, and we never felt lost in the crowd. Our guide Clement was acknowledgeable, friendly, and had an amazing ability to locate animals. Morning drives breaks included tea or coffee with sweet nibbles. Afternoon “Sundowner” breaks – various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with savory nibbles. Cold wet refreshing towels greeted us upon our return to camp. African Bush Camps takes the time to ensures their guests have a great experience. What an amazing and special time we had! We will most definitely be back.
This was our last safari camp (of 4) on our recent trip to Zimbabwe and what a high to end our holiday on. From the moment we arrived to the day we left we enjoyed every moment. Peter our guide looked after us so well and we enjoyed our time in his company. We felt that it was so important for him that we got the best experience from our stay in Zambezi expeditions, that his care, enthusiasm and knowledge were faultless. He was great company, and we saw and learned so much. Every member of staff in the camp was so friendly and welcoming we were blown away. On our last morning the staff came to the main area to say goodbye and sang to us as we left the camp and headed for the airstrip. I have to say I struggled to keep it together knowing that our time had come to an end, and I was sad to say goodbye. I cannot begin to convey how amazing our trip was to Zimbabwe, with each camp along the way adding its own unique charm and professionalism it was all in all amazing. We have returned home buzzing from our trip and all the wonderful people we met along the way and our hearts are full of desire to return again in the future.
We have just returned from a two-week trip through Zambia & Botswana. We started our trip with 3 nights at Lolebezi and there are genuinely not enough superlatives to describe just how wonderful it was! From start to finish, it was a dream come true! Everything from the stylish accommodation and communal spaces, to the beautiful natural setting along the Zambezi River, to the quality of the food & drink offering, to the expertise and enthusiasm of the guides and to the genuine warmth and friendliness of the staff it was a true masterclass in luxury hospitality! It was faultless. There were thoughtful little touches everywhere we went and our time at Lolebezi will forever shine bright in our memories. Thank you for the most magical stay!
