Nothing works in isolation. Conservation is a multifaceted issue, from antipoaching efforts to minimising human/wildlife conflict on the borders of national parks, there are many ways to address the problems we are faced with.

African Bush Camps Foundation partners with these communities to improve their quality of life and achieve long-term conservation through programmes focusing on Community Empowerment, Conservation and Education. By directly linking benefits to tourism these communities learn to value wildlife and nature as resources for improving their well-being. In this itinerary, you will be able to understand the intricate world of conservation, first-hand.

3 nights Bumi Hills Safari Lodge | 3 nights Somalisa Camp | 3 nights Thorntree River Lodge

The Itinerary

The African Bush Camps Foundation identifies needs, skills and resources along with communities to improve the quality of life and deliver meaningful change. Our goal is to create opportunities to empower these communities to become self-sustaining and independent. Starting with forging meaningful partnerships amongst stakeholders, we gage in the conversation of needs and challenges while also promoting conservation and community spirit.
