    Stunning

A wonderful lodge idyllically located on the Zambezi River. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and just cheerful. The food is absolutely gigantic.

The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The lodge is the ideal base to visit Vic Falls. In addition, the lodge is very well suited to relax and arrive for the first few days after arrival before heading deep into the bush.

Luxury Lodge on the Zambezi River

Beautifully designed lodge on the Zambezi River and within a national park. The architectural details and layout of the units and common areas are exceptional. The wall of our unit that faces the Zambezi River is all glass, affording uninterrupted views.

Elephants and bushbuck wander through the lodge area.

Our guide, Claudia was a delight – informative , well prepared, friendly, knowledgeable and humorous.

The Victoria Falls tour of this natural wonder was memorable. It was fun getting drenched by the mist when walking over the Knife Edge Bridge and adjacent areas.

The white rhino viewing is with the close guidance of armed members of the Zambia Wildlife Police. Definitely worth doing this activity.

This is an outstanding lodge and staff.

Maunga Primary School

The Maunga primary school is the only primary school in Maunga village and currently accommodates 177 learners from ECE to grade 7. The school has three teachers including the principal. To date, we have painted the nursery classroom and the ablution blocks, provided learning materials and textbooks, installed solar power and burglar bars for the computer lab, and fixed all the windows at the school.

Maunga Health Centre

Access to quality and affordable health care facilities and services remains a challenge for many rural communities in Zambia. The nearest clinic in Maunga is 20KM (12.2 miles) away from the community, a distance which is often travelled by foot to access health care. Poor infrastructure, a lack of resources, a shortage of basic medical supplies, and a shortage of skilled healthcare workers remain a challenge at these medical facilities.
