For the first time in more than thirty years, black rhinos once again walk the hills of Matusadona National Park. But they are not strangers to this land. They are its descendants.

Their homecoming is the result of years of partnership between ZimParks, African Parks, and local communities. These are Zimbabweans who took custodianship of this land until it was ready to welcome them home again. It’s one of the great rewilding stories of our time, unfolding right on Bumi Hills Safari Lodge’s doorstep.
