    An unforgettable experience

This was the best way to end our trip!! My mum and I had 4 nights here and it was incredible!! We somehow had the place to ourselves, and it was such a relaxing and serene experience.
The games drives were full of animals and exciting sittings with AMAZING detail and knowledge from our incredible guide TV.
We did an approach to elephants with the help of Trymore – which was incredible! Chef Titch with his team made absolutely delicious food!!
We are already planning our next trip back!

    Simple luxury.

I stayed 2 nights and wished I had been able to stay longer. I stayed in room number six. The room was very large with a plunge pool on a large deck. The food is very good, and you get a choice of entrées for dinner. I think they do pizzas twice a week in their pizza oven, but I missed it. The pool area is large in the central area, and the view is nice of the river. All of the staff are very helpful, and my guide was very good.

    Lovely!

Arguably the camp is lovely, the location by the Zambezi river is beautiful (what a view!), the food is very good, the host (Shepherd) was great (as well as service in general) and more generally Mana Pools was definitely worth it (scenery, elephants standing on back legs, finally saw a hyena, leopard coming into camp, river safari a fantastic experience, sundowners by the Zambezi are magical etc.).

Our Foundation Projects

icon
The Vukani Group Project

The Vukani Group Project is a community of women who are making beautiful, handcrafted necklaces, bracelets, and napkin rings out of recycled magazines. This project takes items that we typically throw away and repurposes them into something beautiful. Items are for sale at the ABC trading post in our camp.

Mana Ranger Anti-poaching Unit

Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools National Park is one of Southern Africa’s most remote and idyllic wildlife destinations. It is an acclaimed UNESCO world heritage site. Being so remote and secluded on two countries’ borders makes it an attractive target for wildlife poaching.

Thandanani Sewing Group

Thandanani, which means “love each other,” is a local sewing group run by women in the community of Dete, in Hwange. They make beautiful African print placemats, bags, robes, travel wallets, and clothes. Everything they make is unique and made with love. Items are for sale at the ABC trading post in our camp.
