Linyanti Expeditions comprises six luxury tents, each with their own Star Suite. The Star Suite is a gazebo extension with a bed, giving you the enchanting experience of sleeping under a canopy of stars while enjoying the comfort and security of a mesh-enclosed space. Obie and her entire team at Linyanti are nothing short of spectacular. From the very moment of arrival, they made us feel welcome and at home, in other words like family. Titi and Priti were memorable favorites and the food at the camp was 10/10 in terms of quality, freshness, and taste thanks to Chefs Dee and Haba.
Our guide Allen was superb. He was not only able to get us viewings of numerous animals but also provided us with education on the animals and life cycles. I particularly loved how respectful Allen and all of the staff are to the animals, their dignity and space, the environment and their habitat. He also got us viewings of many different African birds, as we shared this was an interest of ours.
Overall, we would rate Linyanti expeditions 9/10. Thank you to Obie and the entire Botswana team – you are all fabulous and we loved getting to know you all.
Stayed here for 3 days and had the place to ourselves for the first night, a truly wonderful location and exceptional staff!
The luxury tents are very well done and the locations and views are breath taking, listening to the wildlife in the evening and morning made for a perfect stay.
Set above the vista on a fault line give a fantastic view out across the various waterways and pools, black sky at night with minimal ambient light gave some stunning night skies. The game drives were full of different animals and given the remoteness it is no surprise.
Max our guide was exceptional, great guy full of information and his knowledge and enjoyment of his job shone through. No request was too much for any of the staff and it was a pleasure to spend some time with them all during our down time.
Highly recommended accommodation, location and the staff just put the cherry on top.

The location, people, service, food, accommodation and facilities are all extraordinary.
Our safari guide, Mighty, was phenomenal — the man oozes wildlife passion and wisdom. The camp staff are attentive, professional and helpful. The catering was excellent; the chefs consistently produced great, tasty food with plenty left for seconds and thirds!
The big and obvious things such as food, drink, bedding and room tidying were all taken care of, as you would probably expect, but the staff also provide lovely little extras. For example, breakfast was served outside under the rising sun with a fire roaring.

Women from communities in Botswana do not have access to the same career opportunities as safari guides, compared to their male counterparts. This career is still largely a male-dominated one, with little active investment, training, or skills development in female guides that would empower them to pursue their dreams and provide for their families. Linked to this dynamic, there is also a scarcity of job opportunities currently available for female guides in camps in the area.
Kachikau Primary School Disability unit currently accommodates about 32 students with disabilities from the villages in Chobe, Botswana. The unit provides schooling, accommodation, and daily meals for the learners. The school infrastructure was ill-equipped to support learners with special needs as it lacked basic infrastructures such as wheelchair ramps and paved walkways. This made it increasingly difficult for learners using a wheelchair to move around the school premises.
The Vuche Vuche Basket Weaving Project aims to empower women from the local community through basket weaving. This initiative creates employment opportunities whilst displaying Botswana’s heritage and culture through beautiful crafts. Baskets are for sale at ABC trading posts, and guests can visit Vuche Vuche to learn basket weaving and experience traditional dances.
