Exclusively situated within the Linyanti Enclave, Linyanti Ebony offers a spectacular family safari experience in one of Africa’s most diverse landscapes: Chobe National Park. This region, renowned for its rich ecosystems, is celebrated for its large herds of elephant, buffalo, and zebra. Enveloped in the Linyanti Wetlands, this Experience is a paradise of reed and papyrus-lined waterways teeming with diverse wildlife. At Linyanti Ebony, watch as the wild intertwines with timeless luxury to create a classic family safari.
At Linyanti Ebony, experience outstanding game drives, night drives, and walking safaris. Explore the shallow waterways of the Linyanti Wetlands on a traditional mokoro safari, guided by local polers. Have your camera ready as you take to the skies on a scenic, doors-off helicopter ride to witness the incredible aerial landscapes of Chobe National Park. The Park also ranks among Africa’s top birding destinations, largely due to the Chobe River’s role in supporting a wide variety of migratory and resident species. Children are warmly welcomed at this family-friendly experience, with our Ngwana Club offering bespoke safari adventures and other fun activities for our younger guests.
Set on elevated decking with sweeping views of the Linyanti Wetlands, Linyanti Ebony blends effortlessly into its African surroundings using organic materials and authentic accents. The warm wooden elements, stone details, and natural textiles foster the perfect balance of luxury and nature. Refresh in the sparkling plunge pool and relax in the generous lounge and dining area. Gather around the firepit beneath the starlit sky to recount the day’s safari adventures. Experience an enchanting setting for sharing nature and forging lasting family memories in the African bush.
Comprised of just three luxury tented suites and one luxury family tented suite, Linyanti Ebony offers a more private family safari experience. Each luxury tented suite features a lavish king-size bed, an indoor and outdoor shower, and an elegant writing desk – perfect for capturing your memories in the African wild. The spacious two-bedroom family unit features a self-contained lounge, a private viewing deck overlooking the wetlands, and freestanding bath. Larger family groups or parties of friends travelling together can reserve Linyanti Ebony exclusively (with a minimum of eight people).
At Linyanti Ebony, discover a quintessential family safari where elevated comfort meets exquisite refinement.
Allow us to curate your dream Southern Africa Safari.
Plan your safariLinyanti was the first stop on our honeymoon, and the team there set the bar so high for every other stop we made with ABC.
We arrived a bit late, but they made an effort to still get us out on an in-progress drive that evening. On that drive we saw lions hunt a buffalo, which ended up as one of the highlights of our entire trip.
CiCi and team took us in, made us feel welcome, and were great communicators.
OK, maybe it’s because they’re only four tents in the camp and we were the only family there occupying half of them. But this was our favorite of our trip hands-down. It was a perfect combination of luxurious and unique.
It had just the right amount of “extra”, including a king size bed, a comfortable mattress, a lovely viewing platform outside our tent, great food and a spectacular staff!
Our tent was right next to the river so at night we heard the hippos (and smelled them) upfront and personal.
Immerse in the complete African Bush Camps experience with a 9-day journey through our heartlands Botswana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Experience world-class game drives, walking safaris, and a visit to the global wonder, Victoria Falls. Discover the world’s largest reservoir – Lake Kariba – as you uncover its fascinating legend and history.
The Vuche Vuche Basket Weaving Project aims to empower women from the local community through basket weaving. This initiative creates employment opportunities whilst displaying Botswana’s heritage and culture through beautiful crafts. Baskets are for sale at ABC trading posts, and guests can visit Vuche Vuche to learn basket weaving and experience traditional dances.
Kachikau Primary School Disability unit currently accommodates about 32 students with disabilities from the villages in Chobe, Botswana. The unit provides schooling, accommodation, and daily meals for the learners. The school infrastructure was ill-equipped to support learners with special needs as it lacked basic infrastructures such as wheelchair ramps and paved walkways. This made it increasingly difficult for learners using a wheelchair to move around the school premises.
Women from communities in Botswana do not have access to the same career opportunities as safari guides, compared to their male counterparts. This career is still largely a male-dominated one, with little active investment, training, or skills development in female guides that would empower them to pursue their dreams and provide for their families. Linked to this dynamic, there is also a scarcity of job opportunities currently available for female guides in camps in the area.
