Situated within our private concession on the border of Chobe National Park, Linyanti Ebony stands as a premier safari destination in an area that boasts one of Africa’s highest concentrations of wildlife. Among splendid scenery of untouched lands, encounter a high density of predators, large herds of elephants, healthy populations of endangered wild dogs, and thriving birdlife. Discover timeless luxury intertwining with the wild to create an elevated safari experience.
At Linyanti Ebony, embark on remarkable game drives and walking safaris. Traditional mokoro safaris through the shallow waterways of the Linyanti Wetlands (one of northern Botswana’s hidden gems) provide an unforgettable wildlife experience. Take in breathtaking aerial views with a helicopter ride over the concession – an extraordinary way to spot wildlife and traverse the unique landscapes of Chobe National Park. Bird enthusiasts will revel in the rich diversity of birdlife that flourishes in the area; expect to spot species such as the African fish eagle and the saddle-billed stork.
Consistency also means being deliberate about how and when we invest in our Experiences. In Botswana, Linyanti Bush Camp and Linyanti Ebony will come together as a single, refined and reimagined Experience: Linyanti Ebony. What began as a planned refurbishment has grown into something much more substantial. As our plans developed, so did our ambition for what Linyanti could become.
The new Experience will retain a dedicated family side, with its own main area and family accommodation, creating a private and considered space for families traveling together. The other side will welcome couples, friends, and other travelers, with multiple guest areas and spaces to gather, relax, or simply find a quiet corner overlooking the reserve. Together, they offer greater variety, flexibility, and choice while maintaining the character of a small safari camp.

Kachikau Primary School Disability unit currently accommodates about 32 students with disabilities from the villages in Chobe, Botswana. The unit provides schooling, accommodation, and daily meals for the learners. The school infrastructure was ill-equipped to support learners with special needs as it lacked basic infrastructures such as wheelchair ramps and paved walkways. This made it increasingly difficult for learners using a wheelchair to move around the school premises.
Women from communities in Botswana do not have access to the same career opportunities as safari guides, compared to their male counterparts. This career is still largely a male-dominated one, with little active investment, training, or skills development in female guides that would empower them to pursue their dreams and provide for their families. Linked to this dynamic, there is also a scarcity of job opportunities currently available for female guides in camps in the area.
The Vuche Vuche Basket Weaving Project aims to empower women from the local community through basket weaving. This initiative creates employment opportunities whilst displaying Botswana’s heritage and culture through beautiful crafts. Baskets are for sale at ABC trading posts, and guests can visit Vuche Vuche to learn basket weaving and experience traditional dances.
