At Linyanti Bush Camp, embark on remarkable game drives and walking safaris. Traditional mokoro safaris through the shallow waterways of the Linyanti Wetlands (one of northern Botswana’s hidden gems) provide an unforgettable wildlife experience. The Camp’s design embraces the raw beauty of nature, evident in the organic tones and textures found throughout. Rich wood, stone accents, and natural fabrics offer a space that feels both authentic and tranquil. Spend the afternoon basking in the sun and enjoying refreshing dips in the swimming pool. The elevated living area features the cozy lounge, the library bar, and the dining area – perfect for relaxing after a magnificent day of safari adventures. Plan your safariMy wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the camp and everything about. Guides, chef, the whole team made our trip special. Accommodations were awesome and everything to make it special was provided.
Throw in the foundation and what it does for the communities and we will always use African Bush Camps for future (hopefully) trips!
So glad we found African Bush Camps!!! Excellent experience. Truly a special experience. We were greeted with a welcome song and dance greeting by the staff. what great start. Rooms were large with a nice patio to view the grazing wildlife.
Our guide, Taylor, was excellent and so knowledgeable. He would also tailor the drive to things, you would like to try and see. However, we saw so much various wildlife, nothing was missed.
The food served was excellent. the entire staff was so friendly and helpful. This is a 1st class outfit, which I would highly recommend without reservation.
For more than 25 years we have been on safaris in Eastern and Southern Africa, this authentic lodge that tastes of timelessness and authenticity is exceptional. Impeccable and very friendly service, dinner organized for our 2 couples by the pool quite charming, adorable staff and at your care, very clean rooms and superb bedding, very secure about the possible arrival of unwanted guests.
Our guide , Lucky M, very professional, very friendly and respectful of animals. Bonus arrival by helicopter and flight over the reserve.

Kachikau Primary School Disability unit currently accommodates about 32 students with disabilities from the villages in Chobe, Botswana. The unit provides schooling, accommodation, and daily meals for the learners. The school infrastructure was ill-equipped to support learners with special needs as it lacked basic infrastructures such as wheelchair ramps and paved walkways. This made it increasingly difficult for learners using a wheelchair to move around the school premises.
Women from communities in Botswana do not have access to the same career opportunities as safari guides, compared to their male counterparts. This career is still largely a male-dominated one, with little active investment, training, or skills development in female guides that would empower them to pursue their dreams and provide for their families. Linked to this dynamic, there is also a scarcity of job opportunities currently available for female guides in camps in the area.
The Vuche Vuche Basket Weaving Project aims to empower women from the local community through basket weaving. This initiative creates employment opportunities whilst displaying Botswana’s heritage and culture through beautiful crafts. Baskets are for sale at ABC trading posts, and guests can visit Vuche Vuche to learn basket weaving and experience traditional dances.

This was truly a 5+ star bucket list experience. We were treated with the utmost respect, generosity and kindness by every staff member. We appreciated the understated luxury, attention to detail, magnificent lodge decor, the on-the-Zambezi River setting, the phenomenal food, guides, trip to the epic Vic Falls and optional activities...
Julia K, March 2024Managing 23 travelers from California, Maine, Massachusetts, and Montana was difficult. Finding a camp in the Okavango was also difficult. Fortunately, I made contact with Vanessa Stanley, and she was able to assist in finding two camps that were proximal to each other, thus allowing a group of 23 to have meals and free time together and still be at a bush camp. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
